CLINTON (WATE) - A man and woman were arrested near Clinton Monday after Anderson County sheriff's deputies found meth lab components at their mobile home.
Investigators went to the home on Fleetwood Lane after receiving an anonymous tip that meth was being made and a wanted man, Wesley Brian Rains, 28, lived there.
A press release says investigators saw meth making items under the front porch and spoke with Amy Kay Wilson, 27, who allowed them to search the home.
Deputies couldn't find Rains until they were told he used a trap door in the bedroom to hide under the trailer.
Rains refused to come out so deputies went under the home to take him into custody.
The sheriff's office says more meth-related items were found in the home and discarded remains of a meth lab were found in the woods near the mobile home park.
Rains is charged with manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession of a controlled substance, initiation of manufacturing meth, resisting arrest, probation violation and four counts of contempt of court.
Wilson is charged with manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession of a controlled substance and initiation of manufacturing meth.
Rains was also served with several outstanding warrants. He has a lengthy arrest record in Anderson County.
The pair is being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility. Wilson has a $50,000 bond. Rains' bond is pending.
The Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force response truck helped at the scene, and a hazardous materials team did the cleanup.
