GATLINBURG (WATE) - A Harriman man was arrested and charged Tuesday night for the fatal stabbing of a man in Gatlinburg.
Anthony Richards, 26, is charged with first degree murder for the death of Derek Ogle, 27, of Gatlinburg.
Police say they responded to a 911 call about the stabbing at 11:05 p.m. at Gatlinburg Town Square on Historic Nature Trail. Richards was arrested at the scene.
Ogle was taken to LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville and pronounced dead.
Police say an autopsy was done at the University of Tennessee Regional Forensics Center.
