KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Junior defensive back Janzen Jackson has returned to the Tennessee football team, the athletic department said Wednesday.
Jackson, of Lake Charles, La., enrolled in the second session of summer classes, and is expected to be a full participant when training camp begins.
Jackson voluntarily withdrew from school for the spring semester for what Tennessee described as personal reasons.
He made 69 tackles and tied for the team lead with five interceptions in 2010.
Jackson has played in 23 games in two seasons for the Vols, including 22 starts, and earned Second Team Coaches' All-SEC honors last season.
