LAFOLLETTE (WATE) - A man was struck and killed by a train in LaFollette early Monday morning.
The LaFollette Police Department says William Ray Pennington, 57, was apparently walking on the railroad tracks near Gibson Lane around 1:15 a.m. when he was hit by a CSX train.
Pennington was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County and pronounced dead.
An autopsy will be done on his body.
