KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A two-car crash Sunday night killed a Knoxville teenager and injured another.

The sheriff's office says Scott Impellizeri, 18, of Caspian Drive, was killed. He graduated this year from Hardin Valley Academy and was a member of the wrestling team.

The injured teen, Joshua Randles, 19, of Knoxville, was taken to UT Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators say the teens' cars crashed head-on on Steele Road near Valley View Landing Lane in West Knox County around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Both teens were wearing seatbelts. Officers think speed may have been a factor.

Impellizeri's Facebook page says he was originally from Los Angeles.
