KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Authorities searched the Fountain City Duck Pond Tuesday evening for evidence that could be related to last week's house arson and double murder in North Knoxville.
The Knoxville Fire Department, Knoxville Police Department, and the Knoxville Rescue Squad participated in the search which was called off after it became dark.
The evidence investigators are looking for is believed to be tied to the fire on Tower Drive last Tuesday where homeowner Eric Marsh, and his second wife, Dena Baisden, were found beaten to death with a hammer.
Authorities have not given specifics on what they are looking for.
Marsh's stepson, Teddie Allen Jones, 25, is charged with two counts of first degree felony murder and two counts of especially aggravated robbery in the case.
Ashley Renee Tanner, 20, faces two charges of felony murder and especially aggravated robbery.
Benjamin Tillman Foust, 30, is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.
