WINFIELD (WATE) - It has been more than a month since a Scott County woman was last seen.

Her family is desperate to find out what happened to her and held a candlelight vigil on Saturday.

26-year-old Christina Bussell, of Winfield, was last seen on September 28 walking down Highway 27.

A large crowd gathered at Winfield City Park to remember Christina Bussell. Friends and family made posters with photos from her life and surrounded them with candles.

They hope by having events like these Christina will know she is not forgotten.

"Christina, we love you," said Thomas Bussell, Christina's father, "Call us, come home. We miss you."

Her father has been driving up from South Carolina every weekend to search for his daughter.

"She's a good person," said Bussell. "It's not like her to up and leave for no reason without calling. She has two children."

Christina leaves behind her six-year-old daughter and four-year-old son.

Her older sister, Alisha Gregory, organized Saturday's candlelight vigil.

"We just want everyone to know that we are searching for her," said Gregory. "We are not going to give up until she is found."

Christina's family have plastered her picture everywhere in town. They do not feel she would have left the Winfield area by herself.

"If someone knows where she is please let us know where we can find her," said Gregory. "Someone knows something."

The family is offering a reward for any information that leads to Christina.

If you have any information on where she may be you are asked to call the Scott County Sheriff's Office at 423-663-3111.
