KINGSTON (WATE) - All lanes of I-40 in Roane County were reopened Monday after being closed several hours becuase of a tractor trailer crash.

Hiqhway officials say the driver of the truck lost control around 6:30 Sunday night after passing a car in the eastbound lanes near mile marker 341.

The truck then crashed into a guard rail and overturned.

The driver was not injured, but his dog had to be taken to a veterinarian.

All lanes were back open by 5:30 a.m. Monday.
