Kathy CaldwellOur October teacher of the month is Kathy Caldwell, a first grade teacher at Talbott Elementary School in Jefferson City.
Anna Allred Haney nominated Ms. Caldwell. Here are the reasons that were given in her nomination:
1. Mrs. Caldwell is dedicated
2. She makes learning interactive for her students
3. She has an in class library for her students so that each child gets to take books home to read and improve their reading fluency levels
4. She is always willing to go the extra mile to make a lesson memorable and make sure it meets the standards
5. She takes the time to get to know all her students
6. She is an excellent mentor to other teachers
