KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The progress continues on the build site. Now that the house is gone, workers are moving mud, leveling out the ground and preparing the foundation. Despite the rainy, muddy mess, volunteers are still out here with a positive attitude.

"We're doing just a lot of little things getting tent areas set up, but as far as working on the house there's not much we can do right now. There's a lot of equipment in the way so we're limited," explained Chet Stachura, a volunteer staying at the site overnight.

To make the cold, wet conditions more bearable, some volunteers are passing out goodies to those hard at work.

"We've discovered some of the workmen have not been able to get over to the food tent. So we're bringing plates of food, hot chocolate, coffee and fleece toboggans to keep their heads warm, just anything they need we bring to them on site," said Shelby Bowers, a volunteer from Park West Medical Center.

As the night and work continues, we know there will be a lot more changes to come by morning.
