MARYVILLE (WATE) - A former Alcoa High School teacher and softball coach who was arrested in December on sex charges involving female players has been arrested again.

Robert Paul Talley, 40, of Knoxville, was taken into custody Wednesday night. He's accused of violating a protection order against one of those players.

Talley allegedly tried to contact the 17-year-old girl Tuesday evening through someone else, according to a Blount County court affidavit.

He was released from the Blount County Jail Thursday on a $1,000 bond.
