Our December teacher of the month is Phil Hamilton, a 6th grade science teacher at Seymour Middle School.
There were several nominations for Mr. Hamilton. Here are some of the comments made in the nominations:
He is a great teacher. He is fighting cancer. He puts others first. He is funny. Everyone loves him. He's an amazing guy in general.
He's responsible and outgoing. He's always there for his students. He always puts others first before himself!

He is one of the nicest, funniest, most fun-to-be-around person my family and classmates have ever met. He is in the Intensive Care Unit at UT Hospital.
We all love him He is the BEST teacher EVER! I love him! If he gets this award it would make him so happy! (He needs it very much.) He needs this award to give him confidence that he can pull through this sickness. Everyone loves him! He changed my life. He has inspired me to ALWAYS do my best! When I think about it, he is the STRONGEST man I know. Love you Hammy, PLEASE get well soon!
