2 charged with TennCare fraud in Hamblen County

SNEEDVILLE (WATE) - A man and woman are charged in Hamblen County for selling prescription drugs that were paid for by TennCare.

The suspects are Kathy L. Gordon, also known as Kathy Seals, 55, and Zendell E. Seals, 52, both of Sneedville.

Indictments returned by the Hamblen County Grand Jury say Gordon used TennCare to get Oxycodone and Seals used it to pay for morphine and Oxycodone.

Both allegedly resold part of the pills to a confidential informant.

Gordon is charged with one count of TennCare fraud.

Seals is charged with two counts of TennCare fraud.
