KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Dandridge man is charged with stealing two handguns from the Knoxville Gun and Knife show this past weekend.

Danny Eugene Allison, 49, is facing charges of theft and unlawful possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Police say Allison allegedly stole a .22-caliber revolver Saturday from a dealer at the show, held at Chilhowee Park.

Allison also returned Sunday where police say he's accused of stealing another handgun and trying to re-sell the .22-caliber revolver. Witnesses recognized Allison and alerted police.

The gun show was also the scene of an accidental shooting on Sunday. Gun dealer Bill Adams, 64, of Kodak, shot himself in the hand.

Adams was one of the victims in the alleged thefts, according to police spokesman Darrell DeBusk.
