Players from Campbell, Anderson counties sign with Tusculum College

GREENEVILLE - Tusculum Pioneers head coach Frankie DeBusk looked far and wide for players to reload his 2012 roster.

Two of the 57 players submitting a letter of intent Wednesday during National Football Signing Day are from the WATE 6 viewing area.

Logan Hunter, an offensive lineman from Campbell County, and running back Trey McCoy, from Anderson County, have committed to Tusculum.

Tusculum fell to 3-8 in 2011 after going 6-5 in 2010. The Pioneers were 2-5 in South Atlantic Conference games.

The season begins Sept. 1 when the Pioneers travel to the University of Urbana, Ohio.
