KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Cumberland County woman is pleading for help to find her missing daughter and grandson. Montana Putnam, 20, and her 17-month-old son Bradley Thompson were last seen on Tuesday with Eric Horton, 23, a wanted felon.

"We love Montana. We love Bradley. We just want to know they're safe," said Angie Kilpatrick, Montana's mother and Bradley's grandmother. "We went to her house. We've searched everywhere we could possibly think of and we couldn't find them."

They last spoke on Tuesday, after Angie did a background check on Eric, Montana's new boyfriend.

"Aggravated assault, burglary, resisting arrest," Angie said.

He's also wanted by the Board of Probation and Parole. Angie told her daughter what she found. They next day, the trio was gone.

"The baby's things, a lot of them are missing. All of his things are missing, but very few of hers are missing," Angie said. "I've sent emails, I've sent Facebook messages. I've called her cell phone, called his cell phone."

Angie did get an email purporting to be from her daughter and saying she was fine, but it was from an email address Angie had never seen before.

"A million thoughts. It's like an earthquake going on in my head," Angie said.

She called the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department, who reported Montana and Bradley missing to a national database.

"Montana is an adult. If she wants to go, she has the right to do that. We wanted to make sure nothing was going on, that she hadn't been abducted," said investigator Chad Norris.

He said Montana needs to report in person to law enforcement right away, wherever she is.

"We just want to verify she and Bradley are okay," Norris said.

There's another person who desperately wants to know where Montana and Bradley are: Bradley's father.

"I love my son. He's all I got," said Dwane Thompson, who drove three hours from Kentucky to meet with 6 News.

"I just want to see his smile again," Thompson said. "Bradley, I love you. Montana, just come home, please."

Montana and Bradley may be traveling in a purple Plymouth Voyager minivan. If you have any idea where they might be, please call Cumberland County Sheriff's Investigator Chad Norris at 931-484-6176.
