KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Patients at East Tennessee Children's Hospital had a visit Tuesday from clowns with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The clowns, known as ambassadors of laughter, spread some cheer through the halls of the hospital.
It's just one of many sites in Knoxville they're visiting this week as they help spread the word about upcoming circus performances. They also entertained those who may not be able to attend a show.
The circus will be in Knoxville at the Civic Coliseum on Thursday, March 1 and Friday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m.
The weekend days each have two shows. It's on Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4 at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
