CROSSVILLE (WATE) - A mother and child who went missing from Cumberland County are safe in North Carolina, according to law enforcement.
Montana Putnam, 20, and her son, 17-month-old Bradley Thompson, were last seen on January 31 with Putnam's new boyfriend, Eric Horton, 23, a wanted felon.
Authorities say Putnam checked in with law enforcement in North Carolina, and she and her son are safe.
Putnam told officers she's not with Horton. She said she had a disagreement with her mother and she left.
