KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Police have charged a firearms dealer who shot himself in the hand during the Knoxville Gun and Knife Show in January.
William "Bill" Adams, 64, of Kodak, was charged Friday with discharging a firearm within city limits.
The incident happened January 29 at Chilhowee Park when Adams was showing a .45 semiautomatic Kimber handgun to a customer.
Adams was cited and he's scheduled to appear in court on February 24.
