DANDRIDGE (WATE) - A single car crash shut down a major road in Jefferson County Friday night.
The accident happened on Highway 11-E around 7:30 p.m.
Emergency dispatchers say two Lifestar helicopters landed at the scene. They say both people in the car had to be extricated. Their names and conditions have not been released yet.
Highway 11-E reopened Saturday morning.
