MORRISTOWN (WATE) - A man believed to be in the U.S. illegally was arrested Monday in Morristown when officers seized $2,600 worth of cocaine.
Morristown police and an officer from the Drug Enforcement Agency searched a residence in Northeast Morristown.
They seized approximately 26 grams of powder cocaine, along with $1,883 in cash, a laptop, a 2006 Dodge Charger and a 1997 Honda Civic, believed to be proceeds from narcotic sales and deliveries.
Gabriel Mario Tomas, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for sale. He's being held in the Hamblen County Jail.
Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has issued a detainer for Tomas.
