SPENCER (WATE) - An Amber Alert was canceled Wednesday after authorities said two young girls from Van Buren County were found safe in Maryland.
The alert was activated early Wednesday morning when authorities said Summer Knasel, 3, and Lovell Knasel, 4, were abducted by their non-custodial parents, Jeremy Knasel, 32, and Ashley Norberg, 24.
Officials say the two girls were taken from Knasel and Norberg's custody after it was discovered they were making meth in the same house they all lived.
