KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Police have identified a teen's body found Wednesday afternoon in East Knoxville.
The body of Jevon Montrel Sturdivant, 18, of Chattanooga, was found by a person walking in an alley along Ashland Avenue near Andes Street around 4:00 p.m.
Sturdivant was found with gunshot wounds, but it is not known if they were the cause of his death. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
The investigation is ongoing.
