WHITE PINE (WATE) - A man suspected of robbing a drugstore in White Pine Monday morning was caught after a chase into Morristown.

Morristown officers joined in the pursuit of the Ford F-350 pickup truck westbound on Highway 160 after the robbery of Sanitary Drug Company around 10:00 a.m.

The officers deployed spike strips, but officials say the truck continued for about a mile before the driver fled on foot.

Brian Cleve Mullins, 36, of Talbot, was eventually caught by a Morristown officer and his K-9.

Mullins is charged with evading arrest, resisting stop, frisk and halt and reckless endangerment.

Other charges are pending against him regarding the robbery.
