2-car crash leaves 1 dead, 3 injured in Sevierville


SEVIERVILLE (WATE) - A young woman is dead and three more are injured after a two-car crash in Sevierville.

It happened Thursday just before 1 p.m. on Highway 411 at Flat Creek Road.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, the driver of a 1999 Nissan Maxima pulled out of a private drive in front of a Dodge pickup truck.

The truck struck the Maxima on the driver's side, pushing the car off the road more than 80 feet.

The Maxima's driver Gwyndelynn Brewer, 22, of Sevierville, was killed.

The driver of the pickup truck along with two passengers were injured.

A fourth passenger was not harmed.

All were wearing their seatbelts.
