KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A restaurant supply company officials had hoped would relocate in Knox County has decided to go to Sevier County instead.

KaTom Restaurant Supply, Inc.,  based in Russellville, Tennessee, could have brought 135 jobs to Knox County within five years. The site officials had considered was in Midway Business Park.

Knox County commissioners had even approved a four-year tax abatement for the company.

However, KaTom chose the former Heritage Log Homes building in Sevierville instead.

The Sevier County Industrial Development Board voted unanimously Thursday morning for a lease agreement for the company.
