Thousands of children's bicycle carriers being recalled because of amputation hazard

Posted:

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Thousands of child bicycle carrier seats are being recalled because your child's finger could be amputated. The problem is with the grab bar's hinge mechanism.

The Topeak Babyseat II was sold at retail stores nationwide January 2009 through April 2012.     Consumers can contact the company to get a free hinge cover retrofit kit.
