CLAXTON (WATE) - The cause of a fire Saturday at the Bull Run Steam Plant in Claxton remains under investigation.

Authorities say the fire at the Tennessee Valley Authority power plant in Anderson County started Saturday morning on a coal conveyer belt, which carries coal from the yard into the plant.

Firefighters from the Claxton Volunteer Fire Department and Oak Ridge used foam to put out the flames.

No injuries were reported and no major damage was done to the facility.
