ROGERSVILLE (WATE) - Four Hawkins County high school students are charged with burglary and vandalism at the school earlier in May.
The sheriff's office says the vocational building at Cherokee High School in Rogersville was broken into on May 5.
Officers found a ransacked office and an unplugged video surveillance computer. Thieves took three video flip cameras and some money.
They also crawled through the ceiling in several classrooms, damaging ceiling tiles and metal supports and taking numerous items.
The buildings at the baseball field, the concession stand at the softball field and the football field house were severely damaged.
Investigators used video tapes of the suspects to identify them.
Paul Timothy Rector, 19, and Joseph Dean Rector, 18, both of Berry Road in Bulls Gap, are charged with burglary, theft of property over $500 and vandalism over $1,000.
Joseph Rector is also charged with filing a false police report.
The Rectors are being held in the Hawkins County Jail on $25,000 bonds. They're scheduled to be arraigned on May 23.
Two boys ages 15 and 16 are charged with theft of property over $500 and vandalism over $1,000. They will appear in Hawkins County Juvenile Court and they're being held in a facility in Johnson City.
The sheriff's office says investigators recovered numerous stolen items from the suspects.
