HUNTSVILLE (WATE) - The court entered a not guilty plea Friday for the man accused in the fatal shooting of the Scott County Homeless Shelter director.

Josiah Samuel Jones, 29, of Helenwood, was arraigned for the shotgun death of Jerry Voiles, 58, at the shelter on Tuesday morning.

Voiles' aunt says he had taught Jones in anger management classes. Jones was captured Tuesday night in Heflin, Alabama.

The court appointed a public defender for Jones on Friday, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 13.
