OAK RIDGE (WATE) - An unexpected visitor was removed from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory property Friday morning.

A 150-pound black bear was seen near the High Flux Isotope Reactor.

Officers with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency trapped the bear, which was about two or three years old, at a maintenance facility.

The officers took the bear to the TWRA North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area in Scott County, where there's an existing bear population.
