CARYVILLE (WATE) - A second northbound lane of Interstate 75 reopened Monday morning at the site of a massive landslide in Campbell County.

One lane southbound remains closed as work continues to repair damage from an embankment collapse in March that Tennessee Department of Transportation officials have called one of the most significant in Tennessee history.

A three-mile stretch of I-75 had been restricted for several weeks after the landslide closed the highway to one lane of traffic northbound only, from mile marker 141 to mile marker 144.

Travel delays are still possible until the other southbound lane is reopened.
