MARYVILLE (WATE) - Authorities are asking for the public's help to identify the man who wore a blonde wig as he robbed Citizens Bank of Blount County Thursday morning.
The robber entered the bank at 1819 E. Broadway at 11:23 a.m., brandished a black revolver-style handgun and demanded money from an employee.
After he was given an undetermined amount of money, the robber fled the scene.
Witnesses described the robber as fair-skinned with blue eyes, appearing to be 40-50 years old, approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall, and weighing about 200-225 pounds with a medium build.
Along with the wig, the robber wore a light blue T-shirt.
