TAZEWELL (WATE) - A man's body was discovered in Norris Lake Monday night near Lone Mountain Boat Dock in Claiborne County.
Officers with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency identified him as Scott William Hatfield, 42, of New Tazewell.
Hatfield wasn't wearing a life vest when he jumped from a boat into the lake. His body was found around 10:30 p.m.
The investigation continues.
