OAK RIDGE (WATE) - Young Professionals of Oak Ridge selected two businesses for a cash mob later on Saturday.
The businesses are J&M Butcher, at 42 Jefferson Circle, and Mickey's Produce, at 101 Jefferson Avenue. The cash mob is on Saturday, June 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The event encourages people to go into small, local businesses and spend their money to give the owners a bit of economic stimulus.
A March cash mob at Downtown Hardware had its best sales day in 57 years.
