KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a string of South Knox County home burglaries.

The sheriff's office says Michael John McBee, 30, is allegedly responsible for at least seven home burglaries that began in April.

The thief typically got in through windows when the residents weren't home and stole mainly jewelry and electronics.

McBee is charged with seven counts of aggravated burglary. His bond was set at $85,000.
