KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police are searching for the suspect of a robbery early Saturday morning in North Knoxville.
A Knoxville Police Department says officers were called to Walgreens at 5006 N. Broadway St. around 3 a.m.
A store clerk says the suspect entered the convenient store and asked for a pack of cigarettes. When the clerk opened the cash register to complete the transaction, the suspect revealed a gun in her waistband.
The suspect took money from the register and fled the scene on foot.
The KPD report says police are searching for a white female, approximately 5-foot-2-inches, weighing 120 pounds.
