Mohawk man dies after head-on collision Friday

MORRISTOWN (WATE) - One man is dead after a Friday evening crash that also had one man flown from the crash site.

Maj. Michelle Jones of the Morristown Police Department says 52-year-old Danny Musick was driving northbound on Highway 160 near Union Heights Elementary School when he crossed into oncoming traffic, striking 57-year-old William Vradenburgh.

Vradenburgh was pronounced dead at the scene. Musick, who was not wearing a seat belt, was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with what Jones described as "serious injuries."

It is not clear what Musick's current condition is today.

Jones said investigators do believe alcohol was a factor.
