KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A Jefferson City man died Tuesday morning after his car struck a tree in Knoxville.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report Allen Whitt, 43, was driving his Saturn SSC eastbound on State Highway 168 when he crossed the roadway to the left. He drove into a ditch and struck a tree.
The report said Whitt was not wearing his seatbelt at the time.
