ONEIDA (WATE) - The sister of a missing woman is sharing her frustration that more isn't being done to find her.
Twenty-six-year-old Christina Bussell was last seen in September in Scott County walking on Highway 27.
Alisha Gregory has been searching for her sister, Christina, for months. Gregory believes officials have not done enough to help find Christina, yet the Scott County Sheriff's Office says they've exhausted every lead.
"We have to try and go about our daily lives, but it's hard. We just keep asking, putting it on the Internet, keep searching and hoping somebody will let us know something," Gregory explained.
The family continues to search for Christina and put flyers up around the area. "We hope she's alive, but we don't think she would go this long without calling," Gregory said.
Months after her disappearance, they still have nothing to show for their efforts.
"We have to know. We can't search our whole lives like this. It's like torture. You wake up thinking about it. It's on your mind all day."
The family feels not enough has been done to find Christina.
"Maybe if a dog had been brought out where she was last seen walking or the place she was last dropped off," Gregory said. "Maybe track her."
Gregory says she just wants her sister back. "It's a struggle knowing she's out there somewhere. We just can't find her," she said.
As tough as it is, she tries to stay positive. "You always have to keep hoping."
If you have any information about Christina or her whereabouts, you can contact the family at 864-381-3246.
They are offering a reward.
