KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Winds from a brief thunderstorm late Thursday night blew a power pole onto an East Knox County home, starting a small fire.
Witnesses say the pole hit the attic area of a home in the 6300 block of Pine Grove Road about 12:45 a.m. and began to smolder.
KUB and Knoxville Fire Department crews were called to the scene to clean up the damage.
No one was injured.
