Young mother killed in three-vehicle wreck in Union County

MAYNARDVILLE (WATE) - A young mother was killed Friday morning in a three-vehicle wreck in Union County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Her newborn son and three others were injured in the crash.

It happened on State Highway 33 at Baker Lane. Alexa Stabile, 21, was traveling Northbound when her Ford Mustang crossed into the Southbound lane and sideswiped the Camaro Flora West, 53, was driving. Stabile's Mustang continued traveling the wrong way until hitting a Toyota Camry with Aleona Oculam, 44, and Cara Oculam, 16, inside.

Stabile was killed in the crash and her baby was injured. The Oculams and West were taken to UT Medical Center.

Aleona Oculam is listed in stable condition, Cara is listed in serious condition.

There is no information yet on the condition of West or the baby.
