Jerry Sandusky convicted of 45 of 48 counts, could face 442 years in prison

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) - Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has been convicted of 45 counts at his child sex abuse trial.    

Jurors announced the verdict Friday after weighing 48 charges accusing him of abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period. Sandusky immediately taken into custody.

Sandusky's maximum sentence could be 442 years.
