KNOXVILLE (WATE) - One southbound lane of Alcoa Highway will be closed Monday for about an hour as work continues to repair damage from a rock slide in March.

Utility crews will be pulling cables across the roadway sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation says the work will be taking place near the location where several rocks fell onto the pavement near the U.S. Marine Reserve Center, 2201 Alcoa Highway.

Drivers can expect delays and need to watch out for workers.
