KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two men were arrested in Sweetwater Monday on charges of being previously convicted felons in possession of a firearm.
Dustin Vance and Roger Davis both pleaded not guilty when they appeared in federal court in Knoxville Monday afternoon.
They were arrested by agents of the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
Davis' trial is for August 22. Vance's trial is scheduled for August 29.
If convicted, both men face 10 years in prison, up to a $250,000 fine and as much as three years of supervised release.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says the arrests and indictments resulted from an ongoing investigation by ATF, the sheriff's office and the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole.
