KNOXVILLE (WATE) - An SUV hit a utility pole Tuesday in North Knoxville and kept on going.
Police say the driver lost control going southbound on Broadway just after 11:00 a.m., struck a pole near the intersection with Central Street, then kept going and turned left on 5th Avenue.
Witnesses said the SUV was possibly a gold or light-colored Isuzu Rodeo, but they didn't have a description of the driver.
KUB restored the power lines and repaired the pole.
