ATHENS (WATE) - The McMinn County Sheriff's Office says its investigation continues into a man's fatal shooting on Sunday.
Jason Howard, 36, was shot and killed after an argument with Jason Watson, 39, according to Sheriff Joe Guy. It happened at a home on Country Road 258 near Athens.
The sheriff's office says an autopsy on Howard was completed Monday, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is examining additional evidence in the case.
Sheriff Guy says they plan to consult with the district attorney's office, but no charges have been filed.
