KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Travel experts at Frommer's Travel Guides chose Knoxville as number 10 in the top 20 summer destinations in the U.S.
Knoxville is the only Tennessee city on the list of destinations Frommer's compiled.
The top 10 destinations are:

Some of the attractions Frommer's mentions for Knoxville are: pedestrian-only Market Square, the Knoxville Museum of Art and the Old City.
Suggestions for activities include: getting out on the water, Boomsday, Shakespeare on the Square and the Blue Plate Special.
