Kuumba Festival kicks off in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The 23rd annual Kuumba Festival kicked off in Knoxville on Thursday.     

This year's celebration will feature over 200 entertainers and 100 food  and arts and crafts vendors. The Junk-An-U parade on Gay Street will be held on Friday at 6:00pm.    

The festival continues through Sunday with a wide range of events located across the city. A complete list is posted on the Kuumba Festival website.
