NASHVILLE (AP) - Tennessee Attorney General Bob Cooper says the state will receive more than $13 million as part of a national health care fraud agreement.

GlaxoSmithKline, a global health care and research company, has agreed to pay $3 billion to the federal government and participating states to resolve allegations that it engaged in various illegal schemes related to the marketing and pricing of drugs it manufactures.

Additionally, the company has agreed to plead guilty to federal criminal charges relating to illegal drug labeling and Food and Drug Administration reporting and has agreed to pay a $1 billion criminal fine in connection with those allegations.

Cooper called the settlement a "landmark recovery for Tennessee."
